REQUEST A COMPLIMENTARY MASTERING SAMPLE

A complimentary sample master lets you hear how your music responds to Liminal Audio's mastering approach before committing to a full project.

It's an opportunity to experience the direction, balance and character of the mastering process, and decide whether Liminal Audio is the right fit for your music.

How It Works

​

  1. Submit a stereo mix of your track along with a few details about your project.

  2. I'll prepare a representative sample master using the same care and attention given to every commercial mastering project.

  3. You'll receive the sample master along with any observations that may be useful before deciding whether to proceed.​

 

Every submission is reviewed personally. If your mix is ready for mastering, I'll prepare a representative sample master and aim to get back to you within five working days.

Complete the form below. After submitting, you'll be guided to a secure Dropbox upload page where you can upload your stereo mix. 

Intended Formats Required

Guidelines

​

  • One complimentary sample master per artist or project.

  • Sample master submissions must be supplied as a stereo WAV or AIFF file (24 bit where possible).

  • Leave some headroom and avoid limiting or clipping the master bus if practical. Around 6 dB of headroom is ideal.

  • Sample masters are typically around 60–90 seconds in length.

  • Turnaround is normally within five working days.

  • If I feel your mix would benefit from further work before mastering, I'll explain why rather than provide a sample that wouldn't accurately represent its potential.

  • This service is intended for artists and labels genuinely considering Liminal Audio for a commercial mastering project.
